Who operates Calculator

Richard Zin (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Calculator app.

Calculator features

The app provides:

• Calculation: arithmetic expressions are processed to display their results.
• Log by date: completed calculations are saved with a date and time so users can review their history by day.

Information used by these features

The calculation expression, result, date, and time are stored locally on the device to provide the calculation log. We do not upload calculation-history content to our servers as part of the calculator or log-by-date features.

Optional sharing

If a user chooses the SMS option from the calculation log, the app opens the device’s messaging interface with the selected log text. The user chooses the recipient and decides whether to send the message. The mobile carrier and messaging provider may process the message under their own terms and privacy policies.

Optional protected access

Authorized users may activate protected organization features with an organization-issued key and account. When activated, account details and business records entered by the authorized user may be transmitted to and processed by that organization’s service to provide the requested functionality. These protected features are not required for ordinary calculations or the calculation log.

Storage and deletion

Calculation history remains on the device until the app’s local data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Information associated with optional protected organization features may be retained according to the organization’s instructions and applicable record-keeping requirements.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed by the app. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their device with Android’s screen lock and should not share protected access credentials.

Children’s privacy

Calculator is not designed to collect personal information from children. Ordinary calculations and calculation logs do not require a child to provide a name, email address, phone number, or account. Protected organization features are intended only for authorized users.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published with a new effective date.
